to create a profitable and win-win business
for everyone involved and for society

first stage of the motiro project

the recycling

to find for a city hall

council interested in investing resources in a socio-environmental project and that seeks to qualify its recycling cooperatives while also qualifying its young people in situation of social vulnerability.

to find a recycling cooperative

in the contracted city that is not qualified to recycle the e-waste received and that wants to increase its recycling potential and to understand how to increase its financial gains with the processing of this electronic waste

to collect unprocessed e-waste

from the partner cooperative, which grants it free of charge to the motiro project and in return receive a free training course for treatment and processing thereof

to train the indicated people

using in practice the garbage itself provided by the cooperative, showing techniques of disassembly, treatment and processing possibilities, enabling them to continue the correct disposal and increase their gains.

to build electronic kits

with the garbage disassembled at the end of the project in the cooperative, bringing together the pieces obtained, with a prototyping board (such as arduino or esp32), protoboard and a power supply.

second stage of the motiro project

the basic course in electronics and software development

to find a place

indicated by the city hall (school, association, club) and make improvements to prepare you to receive a course. In addition to a blackboard and a basic electronics stand, the environment will be primed to stimulate creativity.

to find teenagers

who are residents or students of the city, between 15 and 20 years of age and who are in a situation of social vulnerability, to offer them a free vocational course in programming and basic electronics.

to teach programming and electronics

based on the kits built in the first stage of the Motiro project. During 3 months, the adolescents will participate in the course in reverse shift to their school schedule.

to stimulate creativity

and teach the student to learn in a different way using active teaching methodologies, project-based learning, and useful tools for scientific initiation. The student must learn to be the main protagonist of his teaching process.

third stage of the motiro project

the final project to benefit the community

to invite teachers

of public schools to take part in this stage together with the students. They will follow the development of the project and get in touch with scientific initiation, learning tools and techniques that can be used to improve their teaching process (indirectly benefiting other students).

to find problems in community

that can be solved with low-cost technologies. Students and teachers will be encouraged to sharpen their critical eye to identify problems in their surroundings that affect themselves and the people around them.

to develop a final project

to solve one of the identified problems, as a form of social counterpart to the course received. The students will receive guidance from the teacher, but also stimulated to seek new knowledge and perfect their role as protagonist.

to go beyond the classroom

encouraging the student to talk with professionals, researchers and the community and people affected by the problem chose, understand and immerse in him to propose a solution and implement, test, make mistakes, modify, try again.

to document the process

teaching to students the basic scientific methodology (interview forms, report and project field book), as well as other fun tools to map ideas, organize relevant information and document the development process.

the presentation of the projects and the graduation ceremony

of the project for the great day of the course end. Students should organize themselves and think about how to present their idea and tell their journey through the Motiro project.

lovingly elaborating a ceremony in the "Chamber of City Councilmen", open to the community and placing students as the great stars and protagonists, inside in the legislative heart of your city.

finnally its time

to show everyone the result of your work. It's a great opportunity to be observed, presenting their abilities, creativity and entrepreneurship to their relatives, community, companies, municipal representatives and the press.

recognition and affection of all those present. All the young students who reach out are winners for accepting a challenge, doing their best and going all the way, giving back to society improvements through their effort and their knowledge.
